The Sundance Film Festival is the largest independent cinema festival in the United States. Although originating in Salt Lake City in 1978, the event has since migrated to our very own Park City. The festival is a premier showcase for domestic and International independent filmmakers. Over the years, the film festival has flourished and is now host to Hollywood celebrities, directors from major studios, paparazzi, and first-class sponsors. Many credit the success of the event to the spearheading involvement of Robert Redford.
